It is the Chanwon Jo, director for this research project.
This project going on for five years from 2017, aims at the proliferation of BIM technology which is actively introduced in the field of architectural design.
I am delighted to introduce the results of those who participated in the research on the homepage.

The subjects of this study are information standard specification, library contents, knowledge and institutional policy, which are the core elements of BIM.
We openly distribute contents that can be used in practice among the research results to domestic architectural design practice, helping to solve trial and error and difficulties in the introduction process of BIM.
In addition, we are pursuing synergy through BIM technology information sharing exchange by disclosing information standard specification.

Changes in the construction environment caused by the Fourth Industrial Revolution will have a great influence on the future design. Therefore, the development of BIM technology requires vast preparations and efforts and participation of all subjects.
There will be many problems after the research project, so our research group will also continue to contribute to the improvement of the BIM technology level continuously, thereby maximizing future design productivity and making Korea an international BIM powerhouse.
